Funeral service wasWednesday, January 28 at Faith Temple Baptist Church in Silsbee with burial following in Kirby Cemetery, also in Silsbee. Arrangements were under the direction of J.B. Coleman Memorial Mortuary in Silsbee. Born in Kountze, she was a lifelong resident of Silsbee and worked in the nursing field. Survivors include her husband, James O. Barlow of Silsbee; mother, Marie Louise Dear; sons, Joshua Simmons and Brittney of Beaumont and Roy Patterson Jr. and Whinne of Silsbee; daughters, Olivia Simmons and Chris, Angela Simmons Booker and Michael and Courtney Simmons, all of Beaumont; brother, Doby Dear of Lufkin; sister, Christi Hurley of Diboll; and 15 grandchildren.
