81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Baptist Health. She was born in Louisville on May 3, 1934 and was in the first graduating class of Southern High School in 1952. Beverly worked until she was 79 years old, played the organ and piano at church for many, many years and was an avid reader. She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and devout Christian who will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by her son, David Chapman (Cyndi); granddaughters, Allison Rae Chapman and Caren Ashleigh Chapman; great-grandchildren, Caleb Micha Neal and Zoey Rae Neal; and brother, Russell Meredith.
A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 2 pm-8 pm and Tuesday from 12 pm until the time of service, at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
