Frances Schneider Bendele Etheredge, age 86 of Castroville, passed away February 24, 2016 in Castroville. She was born November 17, 1929 in Medina County to Martin and Mary Weiss Schneider. Frances worked at Gary Aircraft as an upholstery seamstress and she also worked at Mumme's in Hondo. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, St. Ann's Altar Society, American Legion Weiss-Wurzbach Post 460 Auxiliary and the Medina Valley VFW #8134 Auxiliary.
Frances is preceded in death by her husbands, Irvin Joseph Bendele and J.B. Etheredge; grandson, Brian Thomas Bendele; great-grandchild, Sheridan Craig; brothers and sister-in-law, Leon C. Schneider, Marion Schneider, Andrew and Mamyedel Schneider; infant brother, Joseph Schneider; sisters and brother-in-law, Amanda and Melvin Barth, Dorothy and Francis Bohl.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses, great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law as well as numerous nieces & nephews and other relatives.
