Wanda Marie Fisher, age 71, of Elkhart passed away on March 4, 2016 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1944 to Russell and Violet (McCorkle) Davis in Greenfield, IN. On August 24, 1963, Wanda married Donald Fisher. He survives. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Wanda loved her family and enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her children and grandchildren. Wanda is survived by her husband, Donald; her children, Jason (Ruth) Fisher, Beth (Matt) VanGalen, Joe Fisher, Nichole (Kenya) Fisher, Jack Fisher all of Elkhart, Jeff Fisher of Arizona, and Rebecca Coy of Elkhart; 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Charlie (Pearl) Flick, Dale (Becky) Flick, Mary McDole, and Barb Kepner. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Darrell Flick, Peter Davis, and Russell Davis. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561. A funeral service in Mrs. Fisher’s honor will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 10 AM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home with calling one hour prior to the service. Pastor Larry Sonnerburg officiating. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens following the service.
