Gary McLaughlin, age 57, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Plant City, FL. Born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, he received his B.A. from the University of Cincinnati where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Preceded in death by his father Ernie McLaughlin. Gary is survived by his son, Andrew Gary McLaughlin; fiance, Anita Vergits and her daughters, Lauren and Brittany Vergits; mother, Jane McLaughlin; sister, Lynn (Jim) Gross; brothers, Glenn McLaughlin and Gregg McLaughlin; step-mother, Kathy McLaughlin; nephews, Kyle and Ryan Gross; and many friends. Family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. FRIDAY at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. SATURDAY, May 22, 2010 with Pastor John Striffler, officiating.
