SALEM - Sandra Katherine Wright, 55, of 1776 Depot Road, died of cancer at 4:22 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
Born in Steubenville July 1, 1941, she was the daughter of John Comanisi and the former Ann Lucas.
Wright was employed as a personal secretary and payroll clerk for 23 years at the Eljer Corp. She was a member of the Breast Cancer support group, Read for Recovery group, the First Christian Church and former Sunday school teacher.
Besides her mother, Ann Harvith of Salem, she leaves her companion of 12 years, James O'Brien; two sons, Richard Wright and Brian Wright, both of Salem; her companion's sons, Michael O'Brien and Aaron O'Brien, both of Salem; two sisters, Mary Ann Bowen and Marjorie Corso, both of Columbus; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stark Memorial with the Rev. Jack Austin officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
