Born June 7, 1943 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Mrs. Brown had lived in the area for 50 years. She attended the Praise Chapel in Webster, enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and was known as “mom” to many children in the neighborhood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Christopher McFerran and Dorothy Grace (Jernigan) McFerran Brune; husband, John Maxon Brown.
Survivors include her sons, Christopher Maxon Brown of Texas City, Robert Steve Andresakis of Austin; daughters, Camela “Cami” Hill and husband, Hal of Friendswood, Jonna Maxine Seward of Beatty, Oregon, Dea Friloux of Rosenberg; grandchildren, Aurora Ande Seward and Joshua Hill.
A private cremation was conducted under the care of Hayes Funeral Home. Grace’s family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
