Mrs. Willie Mae Cantrell age 89 of Chatsworth, Georgia, died Thursday March 3, 2016, at the Chatsworth Health Care.
Mrs. Cantrell was born August 16, 1926, a daughter of the late Memory Thomas and the late Emma Quales Thomas.
She was a member of Holly Creek Baptist Church.
She was survived by a daughter, Betty Duncan of Andrews, SC; three grandchildren, Beth (Ricky) Poston of Andrews, SC, Jade (Neil) Cantey of Cades, SC, and Tommie (Brad) Brown of Chatsworth; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Yvonne Thomas of Chatsworth; two nephews, Benjie Thomas and Brad (Emily) Thomas, both of Chatsworth; special friends, Raymond and Paulette Walker, Lillie Ruth Witherow, and Linda Spivey, all of Chatsworth.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold Cantrell, and a son, Johnny Cantrell.
Funeral services were Sunday March 6, 2011, in Holly Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Danny Cochran officiated. Burial by Peeples Funeral Home followed in Holly Creek Church Cemetery.
