Born in Apalachicola, FL, she was the daughter of the late Willam D. and Regina Gannon Buzzett.
Regina was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Delta Kappa Gamma Society of Women Educators, and a charter member of Kappa Epsilon. She graduated from the University of Florida School of Pharmacy in 1942.
She received the D. W. Ramsaur Distinguished Scholarship Award.
She joined her father and brothers as a practicing pharmacist at Buzzett's Pharmacy in Apalachicola until the end of World War II.
She was married in 1944 to the late Charles J.
Misiaveg, Sr. for 65 years until his death earlier this year.
Following the birth of her three children, she returned to the University of Tennessee and obtained a Teaching Degree.
Prior to her retirement in 1981, she taught in the High Point, NC School System for 14 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Katherine Shimonis of Shamong, NJ; her sons, Charles J. Misiaveg, Jr. and wife, Susan, of Rome, GA and Bill Misiaveg and wife, Suzanne, of Greer; a brother, Col. Harry A.
Buzzett of St. George Island, FL; six grandchildren, Theresa Goble, Elizabeth Misiaveg-Patel, Regina Brown, Andy Misiaveg, Anna Shimonis and Christen Sigmon; and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Recitation of the Rosary and visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the home of Bill Misiaveg, 19 Tamaron Way, Greer, SC 29650.
Regina was a member of St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010. A reception will follow at the church.
Entombment will be at Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum.
