Mrs. Bettie Mae “Red” Houston, age 81 of McDonough passed away March 4, 2016. She was retired from Osborne Bonding Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Boe Houston, and daughters: Cindy Hutson and Murphy Sanders.

Surviving are son: Jimmy Houston and wife Mandy of Hampton, daughters: Linda Houston of Maryland, Carolyn Meier and husband Dan of McDonough and Jami Woodall and husband Phillip of Arkansas, sister: Carole Philyaw and husband Milton of Virginia, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016, 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Mr. Troy Hendricks officiating. Interment will be at Jonesboro city Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 6, 2016, 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
