Mrs Gathel McDaniel, 51, Hamilton, died suddenly at her home Sunday at 2 pm. She was born in Estill Co, Ky, Jan 11,1916, a daughter of Green & Dollie Wells Larison & received her education in the public schools of that area. She had been a resident of the Hamilton area since 1935. April 12, 1935, she was married to William McDaniel in Liberty, Ind. Mrs McDaniel attended the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church. She enjoyed collecting antique dolls & dishes as a hobby.
She leaves her husband; a daughter, Mrs James (Helen) Drew, Hamilton; three brothers, Gene & Wilbert Larison, both of Eaton, & Earl Larison, Camden; a half-brother, Doyle Lyle, Hamilton; four sisters, Mrs Juanita Pindras, Morton Grove, Ill, Mrs Louise Gall, New Lebanon, Ohio, Mrs Pauline Pharies, Seven Mile, & Mrs Mary Ballinger, Eaton; & three grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, Hamilton, with the Rev John W Carter, pastor of the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church, officiating. Burial will be in Darrtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday after 4 pm.
