Mrs. Virginia L. Rossow, 70, died in Mission Municipal Hospital late Thursday afternoon. (She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Rossow.)

A native of Santo, Tex., Mrs. Rossow came to the Valley 55 years ago and lived in the Mission area. At the time of her death, she was residing at 1510 Quince, McAllen.

She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, McAllen.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Alan Norton of San Antonio and Mrs. Jack Miller of McAllen; two brothers, O.W. Edwards of Mission and Clint Edwards of Amherst, Tex.; and one sister, Mrs Jetta Young of Mission; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Virgil Wilson Funeral Home in Mission, with Rev. Howard McAllister of St. Mark's conducting the services. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

J.C. Barron, Renold Young, Donald Young, Eugene Edwards, Robert Rossow and Charles R. Knadle will be pallbearers.
