Mrs. Lott enjoyed a life full of love, hard work and adventure with her late husband of 74 years. Married in 1940, they lived through good times and bad, all while keeping God first place. Emma was an avid watcher of Wheel of Fortune, loved a good bargain, and was the original farm-to-table chef. She lived wholesomely, cooked incredibly and loved unconditionally. She will be dearly missed. We are comforted by her own words, "you can't keep a good girl down."
Visitation will be held at New Horizon Funeral home in Dora, Alabama at 1 p.m. today, March 12, 2016, followed by a graveside memorial service at 2 p.m. at adjoining McCormack Cemetery.
