Funeral services are planned for 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, from the grave side at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a short time following the service at the cemetery.
A native of Sumter County, she was born March 13, 1923, a daughter of the late Charles Smith Hogg, Sr. and Loula Persons Hogg. She was Methodist by faith and was a home maker and former secretary for State Farm Insurance Company.
Mrs. Stockton was preceded in death by her parents, by an infant son, by her only brother, Charles S. "Charlie" Hogg, and by five sisters, including her twin sister, Frances Threldkeld, and Nell Hines of Sumter County.
