Wife of the late James Donald Bickley, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Paul James and Ruth Cooper Emory. Carolyn started as a sales clerk and after 20 years advanced to personnel directer for a retail company. Carolyn volunteered for Mobile Meals for 5 years and was also a volunteer for Hospice Compassus where she received a Volunteer of the Year award.She was a member of Beaver Hills Baptist Church. Carolyn was also a member of the Broad River Chapter 218, order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her husband, She was predeceased by a brother Cecil Bernard Emory. Carolyn is survived by another brother Joe A. Emory and a son, Mike Mason of Roebuck,SC and a daughter Kathy Mason of Spartanburg, SC. As per Carolyn's wishes her ashes were scattered. Carolyn was 81 years old when she passed away.
