Kimberly Kay Turner, 55, of Eastland, Texas passed away at home Thursday, February 18, 2016.
A family gathering remembrance was held, Monday February 22, 2016 at the home of sister-in-law Connie Tucker in Eastland, Texas.
Interment of ashes will be at Riverside cemetery in Hastings, Michigan at a later date in the family plot.
Kimberly was born March 8, 1960 in Hastings, Michigan to Richard Hollis Shawman and Doris Mae (Cain) Shawman.
While visiting her sister in Texas, Kim met, fell in love and married her husband, Roy E. Turner on March 31, 1977. For several years R.E. worked as a semi driver with Kim going along as navigator.
Preceding her in death was her father, Richard Hollis Shawman and her mother Doris Mae (Cain) Shawman both of Hastings, Michigan.
Survivors include husband Roy E. Turner of Eastland, Texas; Sisters Debra Hermenitt and spouse Keith of Winchester, Kentucky; Holly Shawman of Nashville, Michigan; Pamela Brady of Freeport, Michigan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
