Ann Hall Gregory Day, 87, widow of Robert Gregory and John Day, formerly of the Eastern Star Home, passed away Monday, April 3, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents Gaynell and Charles Hall; a brother, Greer Hall; and sister, Gaynell Hall. She is survived by three sons, Walter Harvie and wife, Frances, James Gregory and wife, Ellen, and Charles Gregory; six grandchildren, Lee Harvie and wife, Pam, Robert Harvie and wife, Darlene, Elizabeth Fisher and husband, Leon, Chris Gregory and wife, Dana, Melissa Gregory and Matt Gregory; nine great-grandchildren; stepson, William Day; and two stepgrandchildren. Mrs. Day was a member of the Mechanicsville Chapter #138 OES and Northminster Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 5 at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Rd., where services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ACCA Temple Shrine Transportation Fund.
