PORTSMOUTH - George Nolan Presley, 43, of the 4800 block of Wycliff Drive, passed away Nov. 24, 2006, in a local hospital. He was a native of Portsmouth and was the son of the late George Conley Presley.
He is survived by his mother, Edith R. Presley of Portsmouth; a companion of 16 years, Linda Carr of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Rosie Green and Jeanette Jean, both of Portsmouth and Patsy Doggett of Chesapeake; and two brothers, Conley and Wayne Presley of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel with entombment to follow. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
