He was born March 30, 1930, in Fair Grove, Mo., the son of Osmell (Raymond) and Lena Vaughn.
Danny served in the military. He was married to his teenage sweetheart Patsy Essary. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage and raised 4 children.
He worked at Paul Mueller’s for 20 years but his passion was farming. He had dairy cattle and later stock cattle. He was a Boy Scout leader and a member of the saddle club. He was a member of the Southern Baptist faith.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and sister Ilene Essary.
Danny is survived by wife Patsy (Essary) Vaughn; his son Richard Vaughn and wife Priscilla; son James Vaughn; son (Donald) Joe Vaughn; daughter Dana Vaughn; granddaughter Carey Stratton and husband Kevin ; grandson Neil Vaughn; great granddaughter Esther Stratton.
