Connie Freeman Rose was born to Robert Lee and Maymie Mae Freeman on September 9, 1934 in Kilgore, Texas. She married her sweetheart, Richard Arlan Rose, Sr. on April 18, 1953 and together they made a home in Gladewater. She worked for 26 years as the secretary for First Baptist Church of Gladewater.
She is survived by her son, Richard Arlan Rose, Jr., and wife, Lisa; daughters, Dianne Castle and husband, Terry, Denise McKain and Rebecka Cavel and husband, Jerry; sister, Theo Malone and husband Forrest, as well as nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard Arlan Rose, Sr.; her parents, and one great-grand daughter, Ainsley Rose Davis.
Serving as pallbearers are Titus Cavel, Thomas Cavel, Shawn Gregory, Jacob Rose, Joshua Davis, Matthew Cain and Chad Homer.
