Gary "Posse" Adkins, age 61, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the U.K. Medical Center. Gary was born on Oct. 2, 1954 to his parents the late Danny Adkins and Ethel Cleo Adkins. Gary was the husband of Wanda Adkins, owner/operator A & A Equipment, and a member of the Little Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one brother, Duran Adkins. Along with his wife, Gary is survived by three daughters, Dedra (Donny) Slone, Chrystal (Danny) Osborne, Brandi (Jeffery) Justice, one son, Travis (Heather) Adkins, one sister, Kaye Ray, two brothers, James Burlin Adkins, Danny Adkins Jr., eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Teddy Honaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
