BRYANT, Julia Ann Alston Age 66, of Dayton, born August 25, 1949 in Goldsboro, NC, passed away February 28, 2016. She was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Alston-Gooch; father, James Alston; siblings, Andrew Gooch Jr., Beverly Wilson. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Shelton Bryant; children, Mendor Bryant, Tia Bryant-Davis (Gerry), Ashley Bryant; sisters, Betty Jean Bell (James Frank, deceased), Brenda Twyman- Neely (Gary), Sandra Dixon, Jackie Dailey (Walter), Brigitte Carter (Clifton); brothers, George Alston (Wendy), Rueben (Anne), Ricky (Denise) and Tony (Tache) Gooch; 7 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral service 11 am Friday, March 4, 2016 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor Jamison Hunter officiating. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment 12 noon Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St.
