Gloria returned to her Father in Heaven after a lengthy period of illness, while holding her husband’s hand.

She was born in Ogden to Lillie LaRosa Hegstrom and Milton Alonzo Dalton. She graduated from Ogden High in 1953 and married her eternal companion, Charles Crittenden, in the Salt Lake Temple in 1959.

She was a loving wife, mother, granny and granny great to all of her family. She loved and lived for her family. She was very compassionate and considerate of others, always making sure that birthdays were special for all, whether it was a card, a call, or a special treat. She made every holiday a special event. She was a faithful and active member of her church, fulfilling many callings in the Relief Society and as a temple worker. Her testimony of the gospel and eternal families was her foundation.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; daughters, Charlene (Brett) Rose, LillieAnn (Darin) Flinn, Kristanne (Shawn) Willden, Alicyn (Chad) Hall; sons, Herbert and Cole (David) Crittenden. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alice Ann Cleary; and step-father, Harold Cleary.

Funeral services will be held March 5 at the Milton Stoddard LDS chapel, at 1255 N Morgan Valley Drive in Milton, Utah at 11 AM. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the same location Friday, March 4, from 6 to 8 PM and from 9:45 to 10:45 prior to the services on Saturday.

Interment will be in the Milton Pioneer Cemetery.
