Judy Lou Willey, 71, a resident of Crossingville, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie.

Born on May 19, 1944, in Crossingville, Judy was a daughter of the late Stephen Shkuratoff and Anna Louise Bogardus Shkuratoff. She married Arden (Buck) C. Willey on Nov. 9, 1974, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 2002.

A graduate in the Class 1962 from Cambridge Springs High School, Judy was employed as a machinist at Penn Union in Edinboro until her retirement in 2008.

Presently, Judy was a member of Hickernell United Methodist Church and previously had been a member of Carmel Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing cards, fishing and hunting with her husband, and traveling with her daughter.

Judy is survived by a son, Buck A. Willey and his two daughters, Cyelowyn and Rhiannon, all of Crossingville; a daughter, Becky S. Willey Fredrychowski and her husband, Todd, and their daughter, Ashley, all of Cambridge Springs; and six stepdaughters, Debbie Willey, Cindy Ormsbee and her husband, Merle, Brenda Anthony, Diane Willey, Karen Cain, and Kathy Potts and her husband, Israel. Also surviving are 11 stepgrandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Dianna R. Gilbert and her husband, James, of Crossingville, and Della M. Roseberry and her husband, Robert, of Ardmore, Ala.; and a brother, Stephen R. Shkuratoff of Meadville.

Friends may call at Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held there on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Bob Klingler of Hickernell United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be in Millers Station Cemetery.
