On the morning of Tuesday, March, 1, 2016, Marsha Lynn Long, 59, of Sidney, passed away peacefully from natural causes. She was born on March 3, 1956, in Sidney Ohio, to Orville Jones, of Sidney, and the late Jacqueline (Harvey) Jones.
On Aug. 3, 1979, she married John B. Long and he preceded her in death.
She survived by three children, Jason Long and Brandie Fleckenstein, Chris and Jenny Long and Jenni Long, all of Sidney. She has three grandchildren, Ciera and Carson Long and Faith Long. She is also survived by two siblings, Andrew and Judy Jones and Mary Cornett. She is also survived by three nieces, Amber Jutte, Heather Cornett and Megan Cornett.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Jones, and one grandson, Caleb Long.
Marsha was a 1974 graduate of Sidney High School and worked many years for Dannon. She loved spending time surrounded by family. Marsha was fond of traveling and enjoyed passing time watching movies.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home.
A funeral service will take place on Friday March 4, at 10:30 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home. The Rev. George Gnade will officiate the ceremony. Burial will follow at Shelby Memorial Gardens.
