DEATH AT ST. JOHNSBURY,
Mrs. Charles H. Ranney Passed Away
This Morning, Aged 62.
St. Johnsbury, June 4. Mrs. Charles H. Ranney, wife of a popular conductor on the
St. Johnsbury and Lake Champlain railroad, died this morning of valvular disease
of the heart. The funeral will be held from her late home Monday afternoon at
1:00 o'clock, and the interment will be in the family lot at the Lyndon Center cemetery.
Mrs. Ranney was born in Malone, NY., 62 years ago, her maiden name being Mary
Wakefield. She was first married to Edgar Jobert. He died ten years ago and in 1900 she
was married to Mr. Ranney.
