— Mrs. Frances Wright Wilson, age 91, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015, at her home at Morningside of Mayfield. Mrs. Wilson was a member of First United Methodist Church for 69 years. She served as Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School teacher. Mrs. Wilson was an active member of the Wesley Class and the Mary Martha Women’s Circle. She was also a former Girl Scout leader. 1962-1968 — First Welcome Wagon hostess for Graves County. 1968-1973 — Started her own catering business for weddings, parties and receptions. 1973-1987 — Instrumental in organizing the Mayfield/Graves County Senior Citizens Center and served as its first executive director for 14 years. During that time she aided each of the other counties in far West Kentucky to start their own Senior Citizen programs. 1987-1995 — An avid traveler, she started her own travel agency, Wilson World Travels. They traveled to all 50 states and 17 countries. Most more than once.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by two daughters, Carol (Dr. Olin) Covington of Mayfield, Kentucky, and Beth (Pete) Egerer of Rochester, Michigan; two sons, Jeff (Gerri) Wilson of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Brad (Cheryl) Wilson of Hilton Head, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, Wilson (Sarah) Covington of Marietta, Georgia, Chris (Jessica) Covington of Louisville, Kentucky, Anna (John) Tipton of New Albany, Ohio, Jonathan Wilson of Pasadena, California, Jay Wilson of Beaufort, South Carolina, Bailey Wilson of Charleston, South Carolina, Caroline Wilson of Charleston, South Carolina, Kaylee Egerer of Lexington, Kentucky, and Anderson Egerer of Rochester, Michigan; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Royse Lee Wilson; her parents, Hallie and Ralph Wright Sr had 4 sons and 1 daughter -- 1) William Herbert 'Tootsie' Wright was oldest son born 6/18/1915 d 11/18/1981 Married Matilda Robertson b 3/18/1916 d 6/21/2010 . 2) Ralph Stanley Wright II b 8/8/1920 d 1/10/1981 Married Frances Freeman b 10/7/1926 D. 8/16/2011. 3)Frances Wright Wilson B 8/24/1923 B 3/15/2015 Married Royse Lee Wilson B 10/2/1921 D 11/16/1999. 4) Hal Thomas Wright B 1/8/1926 D 9/9/92 Married Mary Ruth Boyd B 1/30/1929 still alive. 5) Jack Warren Wright B 11/18/1930 D 9/26/1996 Married Mary Ann B 1/9/1926
