Patrick E. Chandler, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on February 28, 2016, at Alliance Health. He was 60. Patrick was born on September 6, 1955 to Joseph A. and Eva E.(Tarver) Chandler in Bakersfield, California.

He was raised all along the west coast before moving to Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Pat participated in football, basketball, and track before graduating from Tonkawa High School in 1973. He met the love of his life in 1971 and joined together in marriage to Emilie (Westerman) Chandler on May 25, 1974 in Ponca City.

Pat worked as a computer operator for several years prior to joining the ADPC Family over 30 years ago as a operator/programmer. He loved to ride motorcycles, watch his Raiders and Sooners, play basketball, football, tennis, golf, and swimming. Pat was a great referee, coach, friend, and coworker. Among all things, he loved spending time with his family the most.

Pat is survived by his wife; children; four grandsons; four granddaughters; two brothers with several brother and sister in-laws; nieces, nephews, and mother-in-law.

Pat was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn (Jody Osborne), father, Joseph A. Chandler and mother, Eva E. Chandler and grandparents, James S. and Myrtle Chandler, Benjamin and Melissa A Tarver and his brother, Bernard Moore.

There will be a Vigil Service at 7:00pm on Thursday March 3rd at Trout Funeral Home in the chapel. The Celebration of life will be held at 10:00am at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Ratterman officiating. Burial will then follow at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Care of the family is under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
