Mary Lou Bender, 73, 735 S. Main St., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, at her residence after a short illness.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with the Rev. Randall Gehres officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Orrville.
Friends may call a half hour prior to the services.

She was born April 24, 1928, in Oakland, Md., to William and Myrtle (Brant) Hastings and married Owen L. Bender on Nov. 9, 1947, in McHenry, Md. He died March 10, 1999.
Surviving are sons, Gary (Sandy) Bender of Orrville and Russell (Kathy) Bender of Canton; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
