Dolores J. Hunter, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family. Dolores was born Aug. 24, 1929, in Gates, a daughter of the late Michael and Sarah Bach Kelly. Dolores was a member of St. Pius X Church, Mt. Pleasant, and was a retired registered nurse, formerly employed by Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant. Surviving are her children, Laurie L. Prince and David, of Arkansas, and Paul D. Hunter and Melissa, of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Lynne Prince Bowen and Eldridge, Jennifer Prince and David, Molly C. and Lillian Grace Hunter; great-grandchildren, Ethan S. and Alexander Kadylak and Avery Mascia; and a great-great-grandson, Greyson Kadylak. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Hunter; sons, Donald R. Hunter Jr. and Robert D. Hunter; brothers and sisters, Genevieve, Louise, Anastasia, Patty, Mary, Tom, Michael, Eugene, Jimmy and Billy.

The family is inviting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, 730 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, 724-547-2122, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Pius X Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
