Seven Valleys, Lois Jean (Lentz) Miller Gentzler, 87, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016, at her residence. She was the wife of Gerald L. Gentzler, who died on April 29, 2012.

Mrs. Gentzler was born in Springfield Twp., on April 12, 1928, daughter of the late, Charles E. C. and Mabel A. (Gladfelter) Lentz.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoverstown.

Lois worked for former Seven Valleys Garment Co. for 42 years, the former Goodling fruit stand for eight years and Carman's Creamery.

Survivors include a stepson, Scott Gentzler and his wife, Georgianna of York; one stepdaughter, Pamela Harbold and her husband, Charles "Ted" of Jacobus; two grandchildren, Steven and Sarah; a step granddaughter, Christie; four great- grandchildren, Luke, Rachel, Isaac, and Hanna.

She was preceded in death by a son, Steven A. Miller; a stepson, Craig Gentzler; four sisters, Threda V. Albright, Florence L. Hess, Treva A. Gottschall, and Janet V. Ritz.

Funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 2173 Stoverstown Rd., Spring Grove.

Officiating will be her pastor, Rev. David Martin. Final resting place will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Jacobus. Viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., prior to the service at the church.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Special Gift Fund, 2173 Stoverstown Rd., Spring Grove, PA 17362.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Robert M. Goodling Funeral Service, 62 Main St., Seven Valleys.
