Graveside services for Larry D. Grubaugh, 74, of Murchison, are scheduled for Friday, March 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Echols Cemetery on Jennings Mountain. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Grubaugh passed away February 29, 2016 in Tyler. He was born October 25, 1941 in Rock Island, Illinois. He served in the United States Army and spent a career in the air conditioning and heating industry. He was a member of Living for the Brand Cowboy Church in Athens and loved motorcycles, working with his hands, and tinkering.
Survivors include wife of 50 years, Dagmar Grubaugh of Murchison, daughters, Carole Grubaugh-Essary and husband Don of Murchison, Sandy Leigh Moreno and husband Pedro of Corpus Christi, brother, James Edward Grubaugh and wife Edith of Muscatine, Iowa, and grandchild, Jerry Lee Williams III and wife Kimberly of Murchison.
