Middleton Prior was a deaf mute son of Asa and Sarah Prior. He is buried in Asa Prior Cemetery next to his brother Ephraim who was also a deaf mute. Their markers read Prior with no first name. There markers were put down recently and no one knew for sure which grave was which. Only that they were buried next to another brother Haden Prior.
