Velma Gray-Ford, 78 of Charlottesville, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Feb. 27, 2016 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Aurelia Anderson Gray. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rev. Dr. Roger Ford, Sr. and her son, Roger Ford, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted family, five daughters; Wendy Ford-Brown of Esmont, Va., Lori Ford-Taylor and her husband Alaric of Raleigh, NC, Nadine Ford, Francine Ford-Hill and her husband Henry and Robin Ford all of Lynchburg, Va. One brother Willie Gray and his wife Clasteen and one sister Marva Simpson all of Esmont, Va. Five grandchildren and one devoted daughter in-law Stephanie Ford and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 05, 2016 at The Covenant Church with the Rev. James Cobbs officiating, interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
Services of comfort are entrusted to the staff of Mcclenny Funeral Service.
