Tracy E. Wheeler, of Sammamish, died on September 2, 2002 at Group Health Hospital in Redmond. He was 79.

Mr. Wheeler was born on April 29, 1923 in Bashaw, Alberta, Canada, the son of Tracy and Mabel Wheeler. He was raised in Prince George, British Columbia and married Jessie M. Swales on June 15, 1946 in New Westminister, BC. The family moved to Pine Lake in 1955. He worked for several auto dealerships in the parts department. He was a volunteer fireman for 25 years for Fire District 10. In his leisure time he enjoyed sitting on his dock on Pine Lake and spending time with friends.

Survivors include his wife Jessie; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, September 5, 2002 at Upper Hillside Cemetery, Issaquah. The service will be officated by Chaplain Martin Redman.

Remembrances may be made to Eastside Fire and Rescue, 175 Newport Way NW, Issaquah, WA 98027.
