James W. Hinshaw, 80, of Genoa City, WI, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 while in the company of family members, at Aurora Memorial Hospital, Burlington, WI.

He was born in Gary, IN on August 14, 1935, a son of the late Clarence and Lucille (Pursley) Hinshaw.

He was married to Marge Kimball on June 24, 1961, in Genoa City, WI.

He was a member of Community Baptist Church of Silver Lake where he enjoyed playing the piano and was involved in Vacation Bible School. He was also an avid reader.

He earned an associate degree in advertising from Gateway Tech. He worked as a sales representative at Burlington Standard Press in Burlington, WI for many years. He also worked for Kuper Orthodontists in Paddock Lake. He eventually retired in 2014.

James is survived by his wife Marge; a daughter, Mary Esther (David) Wrobel, of Lake Geneva, WI; granddaughter Lisa Hale of Lake Geneva, WI; two great grandchildren Martin and Aidan; a sister, Rona Teague, of Kansas City, MO, plus many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents and two brothers John and Charles.

Visitation will be from Noon Thursday March 3, 2016 until the service at 2:00 p.m. at Community Baptist Church, 203 N. 4th St, Silver Lake, WI with Rev. Clifford Hathcock officiating.

Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Genoa City, WI.
