Cherysse Michele (McCann) Guilfoyle passed away at home on Monday, February 1 at the age of 64. Born August 13, 1951, Cherysse built her life and family in her hometown of San Francisco, where she attended St. Philip the Apostle, Immaculate Conception Academy, and San Francisco State University, earning a bachelor's degree in psychology. She worked as a stay-at-home mom, limited edition collectibles dealer, and administrative assistant for the UCSF brain tumor research department. She loved music, playing both piano and guitar, and would often share stories of encounters with 1960s and 1970s musical icons, including Janis Joplin.

Cherysse is survived by her husband; daughters, grandchildren; brother, sister-in-law, and son-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albertina and Kenneth McCann.

A rosary is scheduled for February 8, at Duggan's Welch Funeral Services, 3434 17th St, San Francisco. Funeral mass will be celebrated February 9 at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 665 Elizabeth St, (between Castro St. and Diamond St.), San Francisco with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Mission Rd, Colma.
