He was the son of the late Charles and Cora (Bonawitz) Lenker of Millersburg.
Jim was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II having served in 1946 and 1947.
He was a carpenter most of his life, working for the Earl Latsha Lumber Company for thirty years and W. S. Miller & Sons.
Jim was active in the American Legion Post 1001 and the Dauphin County Veterans Honor Guard, where he assisted in over six hundred services for our fallen veterans.
He was a Charter Member of the Pennsylvania Bluebird Society.
Jim was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Marie Lenker and Pauline Stroup; and, his brothers: Edwin and Donald.
Jim was the loving and caring husband of Anna L. (Leitzel) Lenker.
