Of Post Falls, Idaho. Born in Spokane, Washington, to Walt and Rhonda Gray. Raised in Post Falls, Idaho, graduating in 1996 from Post Falls High School and attended the Seattle Art Institute in 1997. Started Gray¹s Sign and Design which became Gray¹s Print Shop, working with his mother there. Also worked as a fishing guide in Montana. He was an avid fly fisherman and found peace when fishing on a river.
