Hazel Marie (Thompson) Reynolds, 92, of Qua-rryville, entered into rest on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Quarryvile Pres-byterian Retirement Community. Born in Smyrna, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late John W., Jr. and Della Mae (Summers) Thompson. Marie is survived by her husband of 72 years, Ernest W. Reynolds.
Marie had been employed for 38 years by the former M & N Garment Company in Georgetown. She was a member of the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church and was active in the Rough and Tumble Engineers Assoc. Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children: Joanne, wife of Robert Black of Quarryville; and E. Thompson, husband of Bonnie Reynolds of Trout Lake, WA; 4 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; 2 great grandchildren; and a sister, Della Mae, wife of Harold Frantz. She was preceded in death by a brother, John W. Thompson, III.
Funeral Services will take place at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1199 Valley Rd., Quarryville, PA on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Doug Hileman officiating. There will be a viewing at the church from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
