Doris Mae Gregory age 94 of Yellville, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Twin Lakes Therapy and Living Center in Flippin, Arkansas. She was born on February 11, 1922 in El Reno, Oklahoma to the late Harry and Alice (Mason) Herbert. She married Leslie B. Gregory on January 9, 1942 in El Reno. Together they raised eight children on their family farm outside Yellville.
Mrs. Gregory is survived by:
Four sons: Wayne Gregory and his wife, Arizona, of Harrison, Ar James Gregory and his wife, Pam, of Tieton, Wash Michael Gregory and his wife, Patti, of Yellville, Arkansas Leslie Gregory, Jr. and his wife, Toni, of Yellville, Arkansas
Three Daughters: Judy Roper of Mtn Home, Arkansas Linda King and her husband, Dale, of Flippin, Arkansas Terry Riggs and her husband, Keith, of Flippin, Arkansas
Her brother: Harry Herbert and his wife, June, of Oklahoma City, Okla
Mrs. Gregory is also survived by 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leslie; one sister, Alice Schrum; and four brothers: Archie, Clyde Sr., J.D., and Charles Herbert and her eldest daughter, Carolyn Sue Gregory-Revell.
Visitation for Mrs. Gregory will be held at the Burns Funeral Home in Yellville on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6-7 pm. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Georges Creek Cemetery near Yellville withy Bro. Kevin Duffy officiating.
