He was the husband of Fern M. (Leiby) Adam to whom he was married to for 60 years.
Harold was born in Perry Township and was the son of the late Alfred C. and Annie (Adam) Adam.
He was a 1951 graduate of Perry High School.
Harold was a self-employed farmer and a milkman for Muhlenberg Dairy for several years. He was the owner-operator of Harold Adam Refuse Removal, Inc., for over
40 years.
Harold was a member of Zion's Church, Windsor Castle, and a choir member for over 40 years. He was a longtime member of the Virginville Grange. Harold enjoyed the Perry Elementary School PTA, participating in a variety of events and shows.
In addition to his wife, Fern; daughters, Yvonne, wife of Dennis Davis, Perry Township, Audrey Trostel, Shoemakersville; and a son, Paul Timothy Adam, Shoemakersville, survive Harold.
Additional survivors include his five grandchildren: Bradley J., Brandon J. and Kristen E. Davis; Alex and Dale Adam. A brother, Myers, husband of Mabel Adam, Perry Township; and a sister, Ethel, wife of Dr. Robert Epley, Colorado, also survives him.
Three brothers: Alfred, Paul and Herman Adam; and one sister, Ruth Adam, predeceased him. His son, Roger H. Adam, died January 2, 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5th at 12:00 noon from Zion's Church, 770 Zion Church Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00noon. Burial will be in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Township.
The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., Hamburg, is in charge of arrangements.
