Ottis Jenkins, 85, of Butler, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2006 at the St. Luke East Hospital in Ft. Thomas, Ky. Ottis was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on January 22, 1921. He was the son of the late William and Myrtle Sims Jenkins. He was a member of the Butler Baptist church and the Pendleton County Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his wife, Octa Stone Jenkins of Butler; a son, Jim Jenkins of Highland Heights; daughters Mary Jo (Elmer) Jenkins Prim of Lancaster and Joyce (Louis) Jenkins Hardin of Park Hills; brother William Jenkins Jr., of Nicholasville; sisters, Geneva Hughes, Evelyn Terry and Mae Todd, all of King Mountain, Ky., and Ethelene Johnson of West Chester, Ohio; step sons, Jerry Stone of Arlington, Va., and Allen Stone of Mentor; step daughters, Karen Houston and Anita Magnirini, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, Ky. Interment will take place in the Butler Cemetery.
