James Lloyd Anders, 76 of Pine Bluff, died Saturday.

He was a loving Father and Grandfather who loved to hunt and will be missed by many many friends.

He attended Faith Pentecostal Church in Pine Bluff and was a longtime member of the Jefferson County Coon Hunter’s Association.

Mr. Anders had worked for Ben Pearson for many years before retiring as a welder from Strong Manufacturing.

He was born February 5, 1940 in Star City to the late Add and Vesta Anders.

Also preceding him in death are a son, Clint Anders, brother, Tony Anders, two sisters, Doris Schmall and Mildred Cantrell and a great grandchild, Abigail Bazare.

Survivors include his wife, Jearldean Kimbrell Anders of Pine Bluff, a son, Joe Anders (Cindy) of Hot Springs, two daughters, Lolita Sanchez Holland (Darrell) of Pine Bluff, and Sherry Sanchez of Hot Springs. Other survivors are a sister, Geneva Shumake of Star City, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at Leek Cemetery in Star City with Bro. Charles McDaniel officiating.

Pallbearers are Mack Kimbrell, Len Kimbrell, Darrell Holland, Ron Stuart, Ronnie Mason, Tony Anders Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Newell Gill and Johnny Willard.
