Joan May Kline, 81, of Sanatoga, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016.
Joan was born May 26, 1934, in Mount Carmel, a daughter of the late Clarence Evert Jr. and Mildred Mae Boyer.
Joan was married to the late Carson Kline from Selinsgrove until his passing in 2002.
Joan graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1952 and graduated out as a registered nurse from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 1955. She held nursing jobs in local hospital and doctors' offices, and a nursing home. She retired in the early 1990's.
Joan was a loving and extremely caring wife, mother, grandmother, as well as a great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family, and traveling to Lancaster and Ocean City, New Jersey.
Survivors include one son, Carson Kline, Jr., and his wife Kerry of Pottstown; three daughters, Debra Huff and her husband, William, of Trooper, Nancy Warriner and her husband, James, of Bechtelsville, and Lisa Beck and her husband, James, of Boyertown; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Leo Evert, of Mount Carmel; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Evert II, and one sister, Leona Foster.
