Cuba- Linda Sue Dugan, 69 of Cuba, IL. passed away at 10:57 PM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Canton. She was born on September 13, 1946 in Peoria to Farrest and Ruby (Noble) Miller. Linda married Steven J. Dugan on November 7, 1987 in Smithfield. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2011. Also preceding her in death were her parents, son Dairl Adams, sister Carolyn Johnson, and a grandson Jordon Parsons. Surviving are 6 children; Crissy (John) Vigna of Ellisville, Russell (Diane) Parsons of Smithfield, James (Pollie) Adams of Smithfield, Cher Gibbs of Cuba, Ben (Darren) Jackson-Adams of West Peoria, and Carissa Scharr of Cuba, 2 sisters: Marilyn Brown of East Peoria, and Patricia Mater of Phoenix, Arizona, 19 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Linda worked as a C. N. A. at various local Nursing Homes and was a member of Nazarene Church in Galesburg. She enjoyed camping with family, doing puzzles, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Linda also attending her grandchildren’s sporting functions and loved her fur babies. Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be 2 pm Friday, March 11, 2016 at Wiley Cemetery in rural Ellisville.
