Professional Football Player. A native of Providence, Rhode Island, he played the position of fullback for the Chicago Bears from 1946 to 1949, and the New York Bulldogs in 1949. A graduate of the Holy Cross College, and DePaul University, he was the brother of football player Bill Osmanski, who died in 1996. Osmanski retired from football in 1949, and went into a career in law.
