Jesse Arthur White, 71 years old, 6016 East Twelfth street, died today at St. Mary's hospital. He was a freight agent for the Missouri Pacific railroad at the Centropolis station for thirty years. Mr. White was born in Larkin, Kas.
He was a member of the men's Bible class at the Belmont Christian Church and of the Blue Valley Business Men's association. He leaves his wife. Mrs. Nellie White of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth T. Brackmann, 7432 East Gregory boulevard; Mrs. Frances D. McCall 9408 State Line, and Mrs. Mildred Verklas, 4920 Birch street, Mission, Kas.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs.Edna Swain, Soldier, Kas., and three brothers, Clyde White, Soldier, Ernest White, Holton, Kas., and Roy White who lives in Canada.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday at the Belmont Christian Church.

Mrs. Nellie White, 95, of 6016 E. 12th, died Thursday at a nursing home at 1125 W. Spruce, Olathe. She was born in Circlesville, Kas., and had lived in this area since 1915. She was a member of the Belmont Christian Church. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Brackmann, Collins, Mo., Mrs. Frances McCall, Sun City, Ariz., and Mrs. Mildred Verklas, 4625 W. 61st, Fairway; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Alverson, Maxwell, Iowa.; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the church; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the Stine & McClure Chapel.
