Betty died February 24, 2016 at her residence in Tyler. She was born Betty Sue Carpenter, January, 28 1961 in Dansville, New York to Charles Carpenter and Sue Grange Carpenter.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Brandi Petty and husband Bryant , Ashley Phillips and husband Jordan and Megan Farr all of Tyler; and step-daughter Heather Veader and husband Michael of Mansfield; Five grandchildren and two step grand-children; sisters Cathy Cesarz and husband Andy, Dianne Carpenter, Jean Thomas and husband Zach; brothers Dana Carpenter and wife Marilyn, David Carpenter and wife Constance, and Jeff Carpenter and wife Tracie.
Betty was preceded in death by an infant brother; and two nephews.
