Dana Joey Jones, 73, passed on May 06, 2022. He was born to James Owen and Donice Jones in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 06, 1949.

He married his wife, Daire, and they lived together in Bentonville, Arkansas. Together they raised 2 children Danielle Harvill (Travis Harvill) and Joseph Jones (Terrance Jones). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren - Lucas Harvill, Logan Harvill, Braden Jones, Piper Jones, Leila Harvill, Lauren Harvill, and River Jones.

Joey began working at the Walmart Stores Home Office in 1978 until he retired in 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (1972) and a Master of Education (1976) from the University of Arkansas. He was a mentor, teacher, and model to many young business leaders and had a lifetime membership to the Future Business Leaders of America - which he chartered as a teacher at Bentonville High School.

He served as the Senior Warden at St. Andrews Episcopal Church and was instrumental in the construction of the Columbarium Garden in Rogers, AR. He will be laid to rest next to his wife, Daire, who died in 2005. Memorial Services will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church on May 28, 2022 at 2:00p.m.
